After over a decade in the Department of Education and years spent in Makeup/Beauty, working for events, Napoleon and MAC Cosmetics. It was during my time at MAC at a busy airport that clients began seeking professional medium readings from me. I often received messages that I felt compelled to pass on during their makeup application, they’d beg me to read for them after I finished my shift and to start doing this full time so they could refer their friends.

The gift of mediumship and spiritual healing is something that is handed down to certain members of my family, it’s been that way for generations. Stepping into my own power and starting my own business after the ‘lockdown of 2020’ is honestly the best shift I could have made.

I worked in Education to help others, but it felt like I was being held back and couldn’t help enough or do enough due to the rules imposed.

At Vernhassa, I make my own rules and nothing is more rewarding than utilising my gifts to assist families in the journey of transition, grief and healing.

I am very lucky to have teachers, colleagues and friends in the industry in various roles; healers, teachers, writers, clergy members etc, who can work together with me in integrative ways both to foster our learning together and to assist clients in holistic, beautiful ways.

Outside of work, I dedicate one day a week to wildlife (avian) care, homeschool my family, spend time in nature with friends, enjoy group meets/ceremony/further learning with colleagues and enjoy time in my garden cultivating herbs to use in cleanses, ceremony and herbal remedies.

Every medium, psychic or practitioner has their own path and their own gifts and abilities. I am both a psychic (able to tap into energy and use tools or intuition to decipher past/present/future issues) and a medium (direct communication with those who have passed).

There are many readers who have the ability to offer a well-rounded reading utilising both gifts, some use one or the other, it’s really a sense of what was inherited, guided, learned and trained and who you feel a connection with in terms of finding the right medium or psychic for you.
